A Morning Cup of Tea: Coming into Jerusalem

Good morning! I'm a little under the weather this morning --sinus headache-- and it's really hard to concentrate on reading the word right now, so today's post will be short and sweet.
We are still in chapter 12 of the book of John. The Passover is near, and Jesus is going to Jerusalem. The people who knew Jesus was coming into town took palm branches and went to meet him, crying, Hosanna: Blessed is the the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.  Jesus came in, riding on the donkey colt.
Jesus knows his time is very near, and he uses parable in verse 24 to explain it, saying that if a kernel of wheat does not fall into the ground and die, it does nothing. But once it dies, it brings forth much fruit. He admitted that his soul was troubled. He was, after all of human flesh even though he was the Son of God at the same time. But he chose to die, for our sins.
Have a great day.We will pick up with verse 26 tomorrow.
